2025 was a milestone year for ai_licia. We graduated from Beta on Twitch, expanded to TikTok Live and Kick, shipped several of our most-requested features, and delivered massive upgrades across performance, design, and tool integrations.

From Avatars to Vision, from Multi Guest mode to better voices, smarter interactions, and new integrations, ai_licia has grown into a more reactive, more expressive, and more intuitive AI co-host than ever.

Let’s dive into our main updates of the year.

Platform Support

ai_licia on TikTok Live

We officially launched ai_licia for TikTok Live, opening the door for a brand-new wave of creators to bring ai_licia into their community.

ai_licia on Kick

We expanded to Kick, starting with a 1–2 month Beta to ensure parity with the Twitch and TikTok experience until end of January. This expansion also kickstarted our internal work around multi-streaming support for ai_licia.

Core Performance of ai_licia

Internet Access

One of our biggest evolutions: ai_licia can now fetch real-time information from the internet.
Weather, game help, sports scores, she can now look them up for you live.

Improved Streamer ↔ ai_licia Interaction

We redesigned how ai_licia prioritizes the streamer’s voice, making her respond faster and with higher priority even during busy chats.

ai_licia Brain Update

Our Brain updates of the year:

• More in-character messaging
• Fewer repetitions
• Smarter autonomous reactions
• Higher message quality

ai_licia Vision

ai_licia can now watch your stream. Yes, she sees videos of what's happening, and process what's on screen to create unique interactions.

Two setup options:

• Virtual camera
• Direct Vision streaming

This unlocks visual understanding of gameplay, overlays, props, hand gestures, and more.

Latency & Performance Improvements

We reduced average response time by ~4 seconds when the streamer directly addresses ai_licia. We have also done several update throughout the year to ensure that adding new features (like internet or vision) don't drastically increase the latency of ai_licia's responses

Multi Guest Mode

For creators who stream with friends over voice chat:

If you add your friends as Admin Users on your account (no subscription needed), they can speak to ai_licia on stream and hear her TTS directly from the Go Live page.

Dashboard Updates

Dashboard Homepage Rework

A cleaner, faster overview with:

• Clear actionable settings
• Fresh metrics
• Latest stream insights
• Faster access to key configuration

ai_licia Stream Insights

The Memory page became Insights, now split into:

• Memories, redesigned for improved readability and detail, including:
  • First seen / last seen dates per chatter
  • Cleaner memory cards
• Stream Insights, showing:
  • ai_licia’s perception of your stream
  • Useful Analytics
  • Interaction patterns
  • Full event history
  • Ability to replay TTS messages

Events on the Go Live Page

Follow what's happening in ai_licia's mind as it happens! When relevant with what ai_licia is doing, you can find the following informations:

• Relevant users memories
• ai_licia’s thought process
• Why she chooses to speak
• Real-time insights into her decisions

Command Template Library

20+ pre-made, community-tested command templates to simplify setup.

Command Design Improvements

A cleaner UX for:

• Creating commands
• Editing commands
• Understanding command triggers

Character Hub Rework

We merged the Character List and Hub into a single page.

Curated characters are now presented as a library, matching the new command design language.

Admin Users Overhaul

A smoother admin system:

• Clear management tab
• Warnings when adding users without an ai_licia account
• Cleaner invitation workflow

Avatar System (Live2D + VRM)

One of the year’s most-requested features: ai_licia can now appear on screen. If you are looking to get started with vtubing, it's perfect for you.

Creators can:

• Use built-in default models
• Browse open libraries
• Upload custom modelsWith mouth syncing when using TTS from the Go Live page, and default animations for a lively model.
  

TTS (Text-to-Speech)

TTS is a key part of the ai_licia experience for many of our users, so we have put a lot of focus on making it as smooth as possible to use during your streams.

TTS Pro Voices

We added 28 new pro voices, with a heavy focus on native voices.

Plus:

• Voice bookmarks
• Better filtering (gender, language)
• Audio cue when ai_licia hears her name

TTS Event Reaction

Choose whether ai_licia should speak out loud for events like:

• Followers
• Subs
• Cheers
• Raids

Works alongside Target Audience settings.

Revamped TTS System

A complete backend rewrite for:

• Faster performance
• More stable playback
• A TTS Status indicator
• Natural interruption cooldown
• Expiring outdated messages

More TTS settings

• TTS Only Mode: Turn off chat messages and let ai_licia speak only via voice.
• Interruption Tolerance: How many interruption ai_licia will accept before discarding her message
• Response Delay: Controls how long ai_licia should wait after you are done speaking to start talking

Integrations are the key to make ai_licia more integrated with your streaming tools and setup, so it's about right we built a ton of them this year!

StreamDeck Plugin Update

A refreshed and more powerful StreamDeck plugin, including:

• Character Switcher
• TTS Toggle
• Listen Mode (auto-redirects to Go Live if needed)
• Join / Leave Stream
• Context Sender
• Trigger Message

Requires App v1.5.7+ for certain features.

Chatter Overlay

A new overlay that visualizes:

• Top 3 chatters
• Messages per chatter
• Chat messages per minute
• ai_licia reacts when the leaderboard changes!

We refreshed our backend services for Twitch event detection (messages, subs, cheers, raids, ads), boosting reliability and responsiveness.
