Introducing the World of Warcraft Integration for ai_licia

Streaming World of Warcraft is full of unforgettable moments. Clutch boss kills, unexpected deaths, intense PvP fights, and chaotic raid encounters all create moments your viewers love.

But what if your stream could automatically react to those moments as they happen?

With the new World of Warcraft integration for ai_licia, your AI co-host can now detect important combat events in real time, reacting to boss encounters, celebrating kills, and even commenting when things go wrong (aka your death).

Whether you stream on Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, or Kick, ai_licia helps turn your gameplay into a more interactive experience without adding extra work to your setup.

Let’s look at what the integration does and how to set it up.

What the World of Warcraft Integration Does

The WoW integration, like many other tools of the WoW ecosystem, is based on the World of Warcraft combat log and converts gameplay events into live interactions with ai_licia.

This allows your AI co-host to understand what’s happening in your session and react automatically to important gameplay moments.

The integration currently supports triggers such as:

  • You died

  • You killed an enemy

  • Boss encounter started

  • Boss encounter ended

  • and more!

Behind the scenes, ai_licia also tracks useful gameplay context like:

  • Your character identity

  • Combat status

  • Health percentage

Because the integration is read-only, it never interacts with the game client or sends commands. It simply reads combat log events, which means no risk of getting banned or having issues with Blizzard.

How to Connect World of Warcraft to ai_licia

Setting up the integration only takes a few minutes. Make sure you have enabled Advanced Combat Logging in World of Warcraft. You can do so in Option > Network > Advanced Combat Logging, otherwise the integration will not be able to read from your Log file.

1. Open Integrations

Navigate to:

Integrations → Games → World of Warcraft

2. Enter Required Settings

Open the setup and fill in the two required fields:

  • WoW Logs folder path

  • Player GUID

3. Get Your Player GUID

To find your Player GUID, open the in-game chat and run:

/dump UnitGUID("YourCharacterName")

Copy the value and paste it into the ai_licia integration settings.

4. Connect

Click Connect ai_licia.

Once connected, ai_licia will begin monitoring your combat log for new gameplay events.
