We’re excited to introduce the American Truck Simulator integration for ai_licia, allowing your AI companion to react live to your driving!

This new integration connects ai_licia directly to ATS telemetry, allowing her to respond to real gameplay events as they happen. ai_licia is also keeping track of key data points about your truck and your driving in addition to her usual job of distracting your chat.

What the ATS integration does

With the ATS integration enabled, ai_licia becomes aware of your driving session and reacts dynamically to important game events.

She can currently react to:

• Job started
• Job delivered
• Refueling
• Low fuel warnings
• Critical fuel situations
• Possible crash impacts

This transforms ai_licia into an active co-driver that reacts to your journey. Imagine bringing a friend in the cabin of your truck with you, sounds fun right?

How to activate the ATS integration

Setup takes only a few minutes. Make sure you have downloaded the ai_licia Desktop App first.

Step 1 — Install the telemetry plugin

Install scs-telemetry.dll into:

Step 2 — Restart ATS

Restart the game so the plugin loads.

Step 3 — Connect ai_licia

Inside the ai_licia App:

Integrations → Games → American Truck Simulator

Click Connect ai_licia

Step 4 — Start driving

Load into your profile or start driving so telemetry data begins flowing.

Quick troubleshooting

If ai_licia shows "waiting for game data", try:

• Checking the DLL is in the correct plugins folder
• Restarting ATS after installing the DLL
• Making sure you're loaded into your profile
• Disconnecting and reconnecting after the game is fully open

Most issues happen when the game hasn't fully initialized telemetry yet.
