We’re excited to introduce the Euro Truck Simulator 2 integration for ai_licia, allowing your AI co-host to react live to your driving!

This new integration connects ai_licia directly to ETS2 telemetry, allowing her to respond to real gameplay events as they happen. Beyond reacting to events, ai_licia also keeps track of important data about your truck and your driving habits, all while continuing her usual job of entertaining (and occasionally distracting) you and your chat.

What the ETS2 integration does

With the ETS2 integration enabled, ai_licia becomes aware of your driving session and reacts dynamically to important in-game events.

She can currently react to:

• Job started

• Job delivered

• Refueling

• Low fuel warnings

• Critical fuel situations

• Possible crash impacts

This transforms ai_licia into an active co-driver that reacts to your journey in real time. Imagine bringing a friend along for your European deliveries to keep you company on those long highway stretches. Sounds fun, right?

How to activate the ETS2 integration

Setup only takes a few minutes. Before starting, make sure you have downloaded the ai_licia Desktop App.

Step 1 — Install the telemetry plugin

Install scs-telemetry.dll into:

Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/plugins/

Step 2 — Restart ETS2

Restart the game to ensure the plugin loads properly.

Step 3 — Connect ai_licia

Inside the ai_licia App navigate to:

Integrations → Games → Euro Truck Simulator 2

Then click Connect ai_licia.

Step 4 — Start driving

Load into your profile or begin driving so telemetry data can start flowing to ai_licia.

Quick troubleshooting

If ai_licia shows "waiting for game data", try the following:

• Verify the DLL is in the correct plugins folder

• Restart ETS2 after installing the DLL

• Make sure you are fully loaded into your profile

• Disconnect and reconnect ai_licia after the game is completely open

Most connection issues happen because the game hasn't fully initialized telemetry yet.
